Croatian alternative band emerged out of the eponymous Split-based hip hop project which Yuri, after he moved to Zagreb, unselfishly shared with others so ST!LLNESS by the beginning of 2005 got a recognizable group identity. His lyrics remained uncompromisingly sharp and conscious, openly emotional and philosophically thought-out but the way of interpreting their songs have greatly changed through their live gigs. In the fall of 2006 such an approach brought the band to signing a contract with the MENART label. After its debut titled "Sve što znam o životu je… odabrao Đelo Hadžiselimović" (Everything I Know About Life Was Chosen By Đelo H.)  had been published in July 2007. Yuri & co. positioned themselves firmly in Croatia. "A documentary audio recording on individual and social values, infernalities and trends", as they called it, was remarkably well accepted by audience and critics and included among the best Croatian albums in 2007. Five songs were turned into videos: "Vatra je đava: legenda o trubadurima (The Fire is a Devil: The Legend of Troubadours), "Banana Split", "Egoskopija"  "Katarza" (under a tacit ban on the public television) and "Blues za moju majku (A Blues for My Mother)". After that ST!LLNESS crossover of hip hop, reggae, jungle-punk and funk-rock with heavy guitar distortion alongside singing and rapping vocals started penetrating into the sub-consciousness of even the greatest skeptics. In November 2009 Menart published their second studio album (CD+DVD) titled "Globalno zatupljenje: Paket za preživljavanje (Global dulling: a survival kit". With this album ST!LLNESS not only confirms its already gained status but also improves its sound and its approach to the making and playing music. "Audio-visual set recycled to inspire the exchange of information and energy", as they themselves called it, had its promotion with the videos "Guzotres (Ass-shaking)", "Gengstill" and "Digni glas (Raise Your Voice)". By the summer 2010 ST!LLNESS played nearly 150 gigs in clubs and halls all over Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia and Bosnia and Hercegovina and also the various festivals in this region (EXIT, INmusic, Riversplash , Seasplash ). ST!LLNESS was support for famous Croatian band TBF at their two huge concerts in Zagreb, in front of packed house Dom sportova.
