»Hikers without return«

It's a collective drama about the forced displacement of those which are expelled of their place of origin and are obliged to look for shelter in far away lands; in imposed trips for saving life, getting away from violence and looking for a better future, because of hunger or war.

The characters live and die feeling a losing pain, with the uncertanty of the future and longing for their homeplace. They are hikers, which constantly come and go, fall and once again they are on their feet. They are surviviors that run away from death that is crouched on each corner waiting, at every corner of their country.  

Exodo is a street theatre based on  spectacular acrobatic stilts performance, the vertigo, the risk the performers handle doing this at very high altitude shows a  creative challenge which is art represented by them.

At the same time this performance is an investigation, a personal research that looks for the most intimate and vivid expression; where feelings appear with the most  profound emotions.

We try to search inside ourselves regarding the schizophrenic violence through time, which follow us as an stigma. These ghosts, fears and hatred are a reality that performers in their acting ritual try to heal and liberate in comunion with the audience.

Exodo in the other hand is extremelly visual and  emphasize  the scenic presence of the actor through a text of life actions and images that try to fill in the empty space  and transform it through magic and poetry.  

Individually or in group the scenes interweave, building performances which finally takes the audience to a reflection about the Colombian reallity in a show that incorporates drama, dance music and stilts.
