After their first album “Music 4 Losers” and a long tour (more than 70 gigs) the band from Trieste comes back with a different sound. TRABANT enriches MUSIC 4 LOSERS’ p-funk with varied influences: black music, funk, disco, some prog and a pinch of South America. Our “fab four” tried new sounds and instruments (choruses, percussions, vocoder, Nintendo DS), they experimented with new techniques (field recordings and manipulation of old tapes) and found more refined composition solutions.

Cynicism, sarcasm and puns remain Giovanni De Flego’s lyrics distinctive feature, as he says: “What you think they will say about this album? There is no dance floor for those like me, there is no fun. There’s plenty of reasons to shake it on the dance floor, but the album is not only about that. TRABANT is a choral work, which has matured and was refined day by day, with the will to explore less popular zones and without losing contact with pop music."
