RED FIVE POINT STAR

Red Point Five Star started as a punk rock trio. Over the years they have grown to be a sextet, known as one of the most original ska bands in Europe. Their mixture of ska, swing, reggae, surf and rockabilly elements has been making fans all over the world falling in love with them.

Their melodies and live gigs also reached the The Toasters’ frontman and the head of the American ska record company Robert “Bucket” Hingley, who invited them to perform as a supporting act on their tout The Toasters. The tour was followed by a signing of a contract with the US ska label Megalith Records, home of artist such as The Toasters, New York Ska-Jazz Ensemble, King Django, Mr. T-Bone, etc.

Kawasaki 3p is a punk band founded in Zagreb, Croatia in 1993. During the 90-ties K3P recorded several demo tapes, played frequently in small underground and alternative clubs, and become one of the coolest and most interesting bands in Zagreb. During that phase band played on few festivals where was prized as one of the best alternative demo bends in country. In that period bend was playing in classic R'N'R formation (drum, bass guitar, two electric guitars, and vocal) accompanied with inevitable trumpet or/and saxophone.

The new album “Idu Bugari” won Croatian national musical “Porin” reward as the best alternative rock album in 2009 in Croatia. The Album won seven “Zlatna koogla” (“Golden bowl”) rewards for alternative performers in different categories. Moreover, K3P won the Bosnian & Herzegovinian musical award “Index” for the best alternative rock bend in region for year 2009.
