Alenka Godec is a well-known Slovene singer with an outstanding voice.

She began her singing career in 1988. Since then, she performed with some of the greatest musicians from the jazz world, such as Big band RTVS, New Swing Quartet Greentown jazz band and many excellent soloists. She has nine solo albums and has also made several other albums with a touch of jazz and gospel in collaboration with other musicians. She also participated in festivals such as Slovenska popevka, Hit festival, Melodije morja in sonca, Ema, etc., and proved to be very successful.
