Superb contemporary jazz flautist Baum moves from lustrous interpretations of standards to excellent original material. The Jamie Baum Quartet uses the traditional jazz format of horn player, piano, bass and drums with a slight twist in that the horn player is really a flute player! They tend to play mostly jazz standards and originals with the addition of the trumpet from time to time.
