The rapper Marko Kocjan – better known under his stage name EMKEJ – started his musical career in the hip-hop outfit B-SQUAD. He also hosted the radio show “Hip Hop Baza” at the student radio station MARŠ between 2003 and 2008. In 2005 he joined the local rap project TEKOCHEE KRU, which garnered the attention of the Slovenian hip-hop scene with the release of their debut album “Adijo stari, kaki scenarij”. Although still involved with the crew, Emkej decided to also get a solo career started. It seems that he will be very busy in the future, since he is planning the release of at least two solo albums, numerous video shoots and countless live shows.
