His greatest passion has always been techno and it has inspired him for almost a decade. During that time he discovered advantages of combining different genres and styles so he diversified his techno base with melodic pads as well as deep house, tech house and electronica.  

He gained his first experience by DJ-ing in clubs around his hometown Ptuj. Shortly after being a digital DJ, he transitioned back to vinyl and started playing at the club Elektronika. 

Quenero likes strong rhythms and digital sounds of progressive, tech and electronica.

ROOT LOCUS 

Hooked by trance and after his first appearances with simple software and CD-players, he started to DJ in Pekarna’s  legendary House (now called Supernova) performing under artistic name Robent.

After his early, crazy period, his musical horizons began to expand and in addition to trance he started to flirt with minimal, deep and tech-house. He decided not to mix old style with new discovered genres so he changed his artistic name into Root Locus. Under his new name and with new musical revelations he will have his premiere at the Lent Festival.

GT JD

GT JD fell in love with electronic music at a party in Cassablanca in 2006. Shortly after that he bought his first equipment. In 2007 he joined the Overload team as a promoter of their events and soon afterwards became a  DJ.

When he got the opportunity to play at a Techno Park party in Golovec Hall, he impressed a lot of electronic music lovers. In July 2009 after he sent a few of his mixes to Boomerang Productions, he was invited to participate in a contest which took place during the Enigmatica Festival in Gavioli Embassy and won first place!
