Through the day to the night and into the morning

The last day of the festival caused some feelings of regret that the festival is over. It is hard to believe Lent is coming to a standstill after 16 days of non-stop activity. However, the last day’s programme proved that Lent is only taking a break, so we can relax and get ready for next year.

On the hot Saturday, the city park was filled with children, making windmills or having their faces painted, while their parents relaxed in the shade. In the evening, The Stroj heated up the place with their specific sound, created by mechanical recycled items.

In Union hall, an incredible performance by Danijel Brecelj took place, which was welcomed by all classical music lovers. At Jazzlent, Ebo Taylor & Afrobeat Academy filled the place with positive energy and provided the audience with an energetic performance. After the fireworks, they continued to entertain with a jam session.

All in all, the last day provided the visitors with interesting performances and almost all locations were crowded with people. In a day or two we begin preparing for next year’s Lent.
