Three silver awards, one of them for our website
Program brochure awards are no surprise to us, since we received them several times before. However, our greatest achievement this year has to be the silver award for Best Event Website, which compliments our renovated, dynamic and interactive site. This year it attracted 30 % more visitors and the silver Pinnacle Award proofs the expert public liked it as well.
Each year, the IFEA (International Festivals & Events Association) recognizes outstanding accomplishments and top quality creative, promotional, operational and community outreach programs and materials produced by festivals and events around the world.
This year, the 56th Annual Convention took place from October 3rd to 5th 2011 in Forth Worth, Texas. The competition was keen, since it included some of the biggest and best festivals worldwide, such as 500 Festival from Indianapolis, Bayou City Art Festival from Houston, Dublin Irish Festival from Dublin, Ohio, Fort Worth Arts Festival, Issaquah Salmon Days, Portland Rose Festival and Pasadena Tournament of Roses. There are also a lot of participants from other countries outside USA, for example Canada Place, Ham Pyeong Butterfly Festival from South Korea, World Gourmet Summit from Sentos, Development Corporation from Singapore, Edmonton Heritage Festival from Canada, Ludwig Van Beethoven Easter Festival from Poland, Rotterdam Festival from Netherlands and Festival Lent from Slovenia, which participates regularly.
The prizes were awarded in 69 different categories, such as TV Promotion, Best Social Media Site, Best Event Poster, Best Environmental Program, Best Event Program, Best Educational Program, Best Children’s Program, Best Media Relations Campaign, Best Event Management Certificate Program, and the highest award for the world’s best festival– the Grand Pinnacle.

1st category: Best Event Website
2nd category: Best Event Program
3d category: Best Miscallaneous Printed Materials
